chrishalling
I have been trying to get my ports forwarded for utorrent. I have followed the directions on portforward.com about setting up a static IP address and forwarding the ports to my router. I have even downloaded their port checker program, but my port doesn't open up. I tried to configure my modem, but I keep getting messages in my internet explorer that there are connection problems and I have to diagnose the issue to fix it and it just takes forever. Can anyone help me out here? Here are the specs for my system: Windows XP Professional SP3 Embarq (sprint) EQ660R DSL Modem Linksys WRT160N V2 wireless router utorrent 1.8.3 w/ port 8080 for incoming exception in windows firewall for utorrent program and for port 8080 single port forwarded in my linksys router for port 8080 to my static IP I think thats about all. If anyone needs anymore information, just let me kow. Thanks for hopefully helping me.

GTHK
You need to forward your modem to your router. Is it having you forward by device, or by IP address?
