Switeck
Your line seems HORRIBLY DEGRADED according to the speed test!Did you stop or pause all active torrents in uTorrent...AND other bandwidth-intensive applications before doing the speed test? Switeck
What speeds are you SUPPOSED to be getting from your ISP?(Because you probably should complain...)
whamp
well since i am on a router using my laptop wireless and i am across the house could be the reason its running slow?
Switeck
Potentially...but even still I'd expect better results than that.Do you have a microwave or air ionizer going which are good at disrupting wireless signals?
whamp
No i do not don't even own a microwaveI was over looking this post http://forum.utorrent.com/viewtopic.php?id=21178&p=2 I do have the same chipset can that be the problem?Ok i reset the settings on both router and utorrent and also made a new static ip and reconfigured the router to portfowardEverytime i get things the way it should i go test a port it says the port is open, i go back to test the port after a few moments An error has occurred! Port 48741 does not appear to be open. This is for every port i try
Switeck
I simply don't know...almost sounds like hostile software on your computer or failing network equipment.
whamp
I did a malware check on a forum and i came out cleanso there is no settings for my network then? I portfoward with success this time i get the green icon on the utorrent prog my dl fluctuates from 5-40kb/s upload stays around 3-4kb/s and these results are from a virgin setting's on utorrent
Switeck
Doesn't have to be classic malware, it can even be standard software firewalls -- often found in AV programs!
