karnokd Posted August 2, 2009 Report Share Posted August 2, 2009 Currently, if I ask uTorrent to delete the torrent data from disk and the torrent contains large amount of files, the delete process locks the entire user interface, and possibly the downloads too. To be more specific than "delete torrent data", it specifically occurs only when you try to delete data to the Recycle Bin (or at least from my observations). If removing to Recycle Bin is disabled, deletion doesn't appear to cause such lockups.I fully agree that this needs to be resolved, because it can be very annoying in many ways. As far as I can tell, not only do the UI and downloads lock up, but the entire application locks up due to a simple "remove to Recycle Bin" operation.
