geekyone
If you are downloading torrents to a drive that is disconnected, if a download torrent starts, it will create a folder as if the drive were still there, in the invisible Volumes directory. So, if a hard drive with the following invisible directory existed:/Volumes/Drive/FolderThen a folder named Drive would be created in Volumes, and sub-directories up to the torrent. This causes all sorts of problems! Every torrent located on that drive will no longer work when the drive is plugged back in, until you remove the folders in the invisible directory. To do this, you have to either fool uTorrent into opening the invisible folder, or remove the folder with the terminal. Very annoying.
