Austneal
Ok, uTorrent has been working fine since ive gotten it. Now all of the sudden i cant download anything. I haven't changed any settings, my ports are all forwarded correctly, i have an exception made for it in my firewall (i've even turned my firewall off) and it still will not download. I get the little red down arrow next to what im downloading, and no peers show up in the peers list. But everything worked fine until i turned it on tonight. At first i thought it may just be a the torrent i tried, but NONE of them work, including the one that was working this morning when i paused it. Any ideas?I've also re-installed uTorrent, but that didn't change anything either

Austneal
I have norton's firewall. But that wouldnt be the problem, since i completely turned it off and it still wouldnt work, right?
GTHK
Wrong! Sadly, Norton has made a piece of junk. Any non-Windows firewall must either be configured properly, or uninstalled. In Nortons case, the latter is better: http://service1.symantec.com/Support/tsgeninfo.nsf/docid/2005033108162039
Austneal
um... ya, im not going to uninstall my $300 software to download something once. And it has worked with this firewall flawlessly until tonight. It was JUST working this morning... and all of my settings are still the same
GTHK
Well SOMETHING had to change. Dump it once the subscription is gone Anyway, like I said, uninstall or configure properly. Or you can temporarily uninstall, that link tells you how to backup your license for whatever product. If you want to take a crack at configuring, remove all the current rules and create brand new ones. This might help a little: http://forum.utorrent.com/viewtopic.php?pid=166994#p166994
Austneal
Do you think it could be something to do with my router firewall?
GTHK
If it's a soho router probably not. Did you try OpenOffice?
