TheKiller2009
Hi. There's a torrent site where you have to keep your ratio above 0.5 so you have to upload as much as you download. I have a crappy upload speed. I am downloading the torrent Files to my computer (arround 50KB) then downloading it How can i play with it so it doesn't count as my downloads ? Because I'll be banned if i continue downloading and I don;t want them to know that iam downloading. but how could the site remember that iam downloading a torrent link even when its on my PC and not linked to the torrent site? Thanks
moogly
Because there is the tracker announce in the torrent file with your private passkey. So when your client asks the tracker, your ratio for this torrent is sent.
TheKiller2009
oh yeah thanks its show http://...../passkeys=.....so How can i delete the tracker announce or fix it ? is it possible? Thanks
moogly
You can't obfuscate to the private tracker what you have downloaded and uploaded. Without the announce with the passkey, you couldn't be connected to peers from the swarm. If your UL speed doesn't allow you to upload a ton, so decrease the number of torrents you want to download. the fifth horseman
What you are intending to do is called ratio cheating. No private trackers tolerate such behavior, and will ban you on spot when found out.Bans on related private trackers you are a member of are likely to follow, and people who invited you there may also be banned.
