Switeck Posted October 7, 2009 Report Share Posted October 7, 2009 Your college probably goes to great lengths to block bittorrent traffic that's attempting to cross its internet gateway.I explain a bit about ISP throttling and possible workarounds you can try here:http://forum.utorrent.com/viewtopic.php?id=58714(NOTE: Those settings were a special case for a wireless ISP!)Do note that if it's AGAINST THE RULES to use BitTorrent software at your college...you can get kicked out of school for doing so!
