shy_evsa Posted October 9, 2009 Report Share Posted October 9, 2009 Well it's not that important just curiouswhy sometimes after i release my download limit the speed will jump over my actual speed limitfor example i have 1Mbits Connection with max download rate at 100KByte/s sometimes to allow other program to download i limited my connection to 50KB/s or 80KB/sthen when i changed it back to unlimited it will jump to over 100KB/sit happen just for a moment no more than 1 sec I thinkwell just curious what happen so it jump like thatis it because the queue traffic or something.. Switeck Posted October 9, 2009 Report Share Posted October 9, 2009 Your line is throttled to 1 mbit/sec by the ISP, its real speed might be slightly to considerably higher.It is nearly impossible to gain more than a second or so of "extra" speed unless your ISP also offers extended burst ability.
