how do I get partially loaded files onto utorrent from a new computer

I store my downloading files on an external. Recently my computer died, and I have switched my utorrent software to a new computer, but am using the same external drive. I set the folder for downloading files the same as it was on the other computer. How can I get partially downloaded files from that folder to show up on Utorrent, so I can continue downloading them?

Did you save the folder %appdata%\utorrent with all your history and settings?

If not, you have to reload (manually or automatically) each (in)complete torrent into uT to resume/seed it. See migration guide: http://www.utorrent.com/documentation/migrate

Of course, you need to retrieve each .torrent file (from the tracker/indexer) if you haven't keep a backup copy.
