tervel12 Posted November 2, 2009 Report Share Posted November 2, 2009 I created a torrent to share with a personal friend. I enabled the bt.enable_tracker in the advanced preferences. I set the tracker address to: http://mypublicIP:portnumber/announce.My friend tries to connect to this torrent via URL and he is unable to.I have uploaded many torrents and know that my port forwarding and firewall/router settings are all correct. However, my tracker status is constantly saying 'offline (timed out). How can it be offline when my computer is the tracker?Any help would be appreciated.
