xtrmekool Posted November 14, 2009 Report Posted November 14, 2009 I have been using uTorrent (I am using uTorrent 1.8.5), for three years, i was using a very slow internet speed of 256 Kbps in India. This year i moved to UK i took an internet connection of 10 Mbps. My friend who uses the same type of connection receives a speed of 360 Kbps at a minimum. But i am not getting even a maximum speed of 100 Kbps. I have added an exception in Windows Firewall and my port has been forwarded properly, but still i am unable to get a maximum download speed. Can you guess me what the problem is and help me in troubleshooting this problem?
The_Nephilim Posted November 14, 2009 Report Posted November 14, 2009 Hi, Are you on DSL?? If so what is the mak and model of your modem?? Do you get the green tick in utorrent showing the port is open and accepting connections??
Switeck Posted November 15, 2009 Report Posted November 15, 2009 I've heard BlueYonder was bought out/now part of Virgin Media Cable ISP in the UK:http://forum.utorrent.com/viewtopic.php?id=53050
