rjbell75
I don't have a problem. More of an annoyance. The speed icon on the bottom of the page won't turn green. It's either red- Firewall not allowing connection, or yellow- no incoming connection, unless it turns green it could indicate a problem. Even though I get those messages it still downloads- up to 180kb/s. can anyone explain this to me? Running XP with cable connection

rjbell75
I have F-Secure [2010, I believe- from cable company with internet service]. Has it's own firewall. Followed instructions to allow Utorrent. Followed setup guide and performed speed tests. Have run "test if port is forwarded properly many times. always ok

rjbell75
No router. plugged right into cable modem. It's still downloading but doesn't seem like it's connecting to as many peers as I remember from previous versions.
Switeck
The port forward test may be allowed for your web browser, but uTorrent may be blocked.Software firewalls are tricky things.
