Elabon
I downloaded utorrent today to get a free 2 play FPS update. The problem that I've had is that utorrent has now effectively changed any and all .exe extensions to Torrent files. Almost my enitre desktop of shortcuts now has the utorrent symbol on it. Anything that I try to run, be it system restore, Malwarebytes, AVG... ANYTHING and Utorrent pops up and says "Not a valid torrent file" I'm incredibly unhappy with this result and really want it changed back. I even tried to get an IRC client to do this via IRC chat because my IRC now has a utorrent symbol and says it isn't a valid torrent file. Please tell me that your program didn't just destroy 500 gigs worth of info... I'll be incredibly unhappy if it has. HELP!
Firon
http://filext.com/faq/broken_exe_association.phpHow do people even manage to do that? The standard association dialog in uTorrent doesn't do it.
Elabon
Wish I could tell you how it happened exactly but I don't have clue. The only possible thought in my head has to do with my randomly clicking 3 year old while I was dealing with something else at some point. I certainly don't remember seeing or doing anything to make it happen.
