jaysun2234 Posted March 13, 2010 Report Share Posted March 13, 2010 As many others have found, my speeds are now abysmal since moving to 2.0 from 1.85. Nothing else changed with my setup, so I must assume the update is the reason. I have uninstalled and reinstalled utorrent, gone back through the setup guides and speed settings graciously provided on this forum. I am able to download, but the speeds are not what they were previous to the update. My upload speed is currently 3-5 times the download speed, currently 375 kB/s upload, 55 kB/s download with an availability of 34.999. I am on comcast with 10Mbit/s download/6Mbit/s upload according the speedtest.net and the utorrent setup guide. Any thoughts? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Switeck Posted March 14, 2010 Report Share Posted March 14, 2010 That's probably ComCast's speedboost you're seeing in speed tests -- you might really only have 6-8 mbit/sec sustained down and 1-2 mbit/sec sustained up.1st link in my signature, slow speed section.
