uiud
So I'd like to be able to torrent through an ssh tunnel I set up with my house, for when I'm on unsecure connections / behind a firewall / not at home. So I use the command 'ssh -ND 8080 username@myhousesaddress' or its equivalent in Putty. I then set a proxy as 'localhost' 'Socks5' '8080' and check 'Use Proxy for P2P Connections.' I can't download any torrents, but I am able to see how many seeds. Suggestions? I have port 22 forwarded to my ssh server, UPnP forwarding, and port triggering on 8080.The proxy works when I just browse the Internet using Firefox, it's only torrents it has trouble with. KSUdvm2b
I'm not sure if this is your issue, but port triggering doesn't work consistently with torrents.
