Not sure if im in the right place for this because of the warning on top of the page about downloads, if this is the wrong forum could i be pointed in the right direction please.

any torrents i have i moved to an external hardrive for space, i now want any more torrents to go directly there and for that dir to be available for seeding, but i cant seem to get the settings to show the torrents that are there.

if this is the wrong forum sorry, ive been days trying to figure this out.

You have to relocate each old torrent you have moved to your external HD.

Stop the torrent job, right click, Advanced > Set Download Location.

For each new torrent you want to load into µT, just set the download folder in Preferences > Directories.

do i need to create a new torrent for all of these?

For the old ones? No.

If the torrent jobs are still loaded in µT, you have just to relocate them.

Of course, if you have moved a torrent (I mean about the data/files) on your ext HD and removed the corresponding torrent job, you have to redownload the .torrent file from the web (tracker, indexer etc) and reload it into µT. µT will force a recheck and resume the torrent.
