Already considered, but as far as I can tell, because of the way the API works, it isn't possible with plain AJAX, and would require some third-party component like Flash -- which I'm not inclined to move toward.

The beauty of the Web API is that you can write your own application where you can add multiple torrents at once. The application then just submits them one by one for you.

In fact I think this is already possible with µTorrent Adder.

Indeed, it's possible with µTorrent Adder because it's simple to iterate through the list of files. With browsers, the only way to submit the file is for the user to manually select the file for the 'torrent_file' form field. You can't modify the 'torrent_file' field via JavaScript for security reasons.
