dragonstrap
Often I want to schedule my downloads for my offpeak time (when I have a lot of bandwidth). But it would be really nice and useful to be able to flag a torrent to be unaffected by the scheduling, so that it can be always on. For example, it would be desirable to have some rare torrent with only very few seeders to be allowed to download whenever the file may be available because cutting out due to the scheduler may risk ever getting all of it.I would find this to be a greatly beneficial feature, and not very difficult to implement at all.Share your thoughts? Firon
That's what force start is for.
dragonstrap
Oh, sorry. I didn't realise that's what force start was. I always thought it was something along the lines of "try to force a connection with peers who have not braodcast their availability".Cool, I guess I got my request
Firon
Naw, Force Start has two purposes: bypass queue limits (e.g. start a 3rd torrent you hit your queue limit of 2) and bypass the turn off mode in the scheduler.
