flyinhigh
I'm new to bittorrent, so please bear with me. Since I began using uTorrent I have put exactly 37GB's on my hard drive. However I have only downloaded half that many. But when I add my total of uploads and downloads together I get 36.5GB's (basically 37). Uploads dont use any disc space at all, right? Can anybody please explain what I'm missing to me.And also I checked my uTorrent Prefrences and came across where my usage history can be reset. Dose this have anything to with my question above? And should I reset this history or leave it alone?
moogly
Downloads/uploads are MB or GB shared through your client µT.You can share a 500-MB torrent (so you have downloaded 500 MB) and upload 5 GB of this torrent. But the disc space stays untouched, only 500 MB are allocated to the data of the torrent. Switeck
Are you sure that it's uTorrent "eating" 37 GB of your hdd space?
