cvurgah Posted June 14, 2010 Report Posted June 14, 2010 EDIT:I found the solution by myself! Here is it: http://forum.kaspersky.com/index.php?showtopic=173276Though it would be nice with an update of KIS so you don't have to do this...*thread closed*Hi, I really need your help with this one guys. Because I can't download anything until it's solved..Some facts:Anti-virus/firewall etc: Kapsersky Internet Security 2011µTorrent version: 2.02The problem:After I installed Kaspersky Internet Security 2011 I receive this error after a while when I download a torrent:"The requested operation cannot be performed on a file with a user-mapped section open"Before I had Kaspesky Internet Security 2010 and I never had problems with downloading torrents.I've used google and I found this "solution":http://forum.utorrent.com/viewtopic.php?id=41702&p=8and I tried to do the following procedure:Open KIS 2011 - Settings - Advanced Settings - Threats and Exclusions - (under exclusions) Settings - Add - Select Object - Browse - "Download folder"and then I restarted my computer. But that didn't help. By reason of that this error in utorrent appeared after I installed KIS 2011 it's pretty obvious that it's the problem. So what should I do to solve this problem?Regardscvurgah
Switeck Posted June 14, 2010 Report Posted June 14, 2010 "The developers are already aware of it, should be fixed in next version."...because anything that self-updates can sometimes break itself.
Switeck Posted June 14, 2010 Report Posted June 14, 2010 If it worked earlier, a later change made to it made it not work.
digito Posted June 16, 2010 Report Posted June 16, 2010 So it was KIS all along.2010 worked perfectly fine out of the box.Strange.Thanks.
