Okay, I know that this topic seems to be a fairly popular one; however I cannot seem to find a forum that solved my problems. I'm not as great as other people are with computers so I'll be needing some guidelines on how to fix this problem (it's getting quite tiring having to keep a close watch on my torrent downloads!).

On one of the forums I saw, some of the HP component processes didn't need to be used - so how do you end them without crashing your platform (if it's even possible)?

The culprit is surely one of scanning modules of AVG like AVG E-mail Scanner.

Enable the option 'append .!ut to incomplete files' in µT then exclude this extension in all the scanners of AVG.

If that fails, exclude the torrent download folder in AVG.

Thanks! I finally figured out where the Append .!ut to incomplete files option is in uTorrent and so far so good! Haven't had any issues yet. Although I don't exactly quite know how to exclude any extensions in AVG but if this issue comes back up again I'll look into that. I kind of figured it was AVG but I wasn't too sure. Thanks again. c:
