Determining Dead Torrents (in order to delete old torrents)

Hey all,

I am wondering what people do to determine when a torrent is dead. I want to get rid of some files/torrents that I downloaded a long time ago. The problem is, if I am one of a few seeders with a ton of peers wanting to download from me (ie. a rare file), how do I know this beyond looking at the seed/peer ratio and the last active time? Is there a quick and easy way to find out how many people requested seeds/peers from a tracker in the last week/month for a torrent?

yeah, start them. If they're active, you'll see some activity. If they're dead, you won't.give each one a minute to settle.

best to do it with a label, (select them all, add a label, go to the label in the categories list). Then start them all, it should start working through them as queued seeds. It obviously goes faster with all other torrents stopped.
