judiii Posted August 25, 2010 Report Share Posted August 25, 2010 I can download at a slow speed but I am having a hard time getting any speed to share back. It says my port is not open.... I never used to have this problem but since I have comcast and have a free version of Norton Security Suite.... it seems to be happening. They have some info on here on how to open ports with the firewall but they are from like 2006. Does anyone know how I can fix this problem? paintball9 Posted August 25, 2010 Report Share Posted August 25, 2010 The way ports are opened hasn't changed since then. Follow the same directions.Norton isn't a great firewall for what you're trying to do but if you setup the rules properly it is possible to get utorrent working properly again. Make sure you make rules for the port you are forwarding (the one you choose in utorrent) as well as the utorrent application itself. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
