utorrent crashes internet (1 computer directly connected tocablemodem)

So this just started happening a few weeks ago...never had a problem with utorrent before. All sudden the internet switches to local and I can't do anything. Unplugging and plugging back in my modem does nothing. I have to restart my computer then everything works fine.

I've went through diff posts and tried all of the obvious solutions. Seems everyone else having htis problem has a router.

Not in the mood to go through hours of searching to troubleshoot this. Anyone know an easy solution?

please don't tellme to go through a bunch of crap...I mean it's been working for years then all the sudden...This never happens with any other applications.

So if it happens all sudden what could it be??? I doubt i have to adjust things via the speed guide or any of that crap...so ya

Did you change your uTorrent settings around then?

Add a bunch more torrents, maybe pushing it over the edge?

Upgrade uTorrent version?

reinstalled utorrent....figures it's something tard...haven't had the problem again. Probably should have tried this first lol.

So settings misconfiguration or just too many torrents loaded at once is the best guess for your problem.

Either way, good to hear it's gone.

I'm having a similar problem to this, but with an extra quirk, should I ask it here? Or start a new thread??
