I joined the forms because I have a strange problem, but I can't seem to find any information about this bizarre problem. If ANYBODY can help me, that would be great.I've used Utorrent for quite a while now. I have had 0 problems with it.But recently, I came over to a friends place. And Utorrent is acting weird.When I try to download a torrent here at my friends house, the Utorrent says the torrent is being downloaded, but is make VERY little progress. In fact, it does nothing. It just sits there, at zero percent. The torrents I am downloading have plenty of seeds and leeches...I've tried other torrent programs, but I get the same problem.What's weird is that I have a friend who uses Utorrent as well. But his torrent is actually DOWNLOADING. Despite the fact that the torrent is downloading very slow.Any help would be great. I have a Windows 7 laptop, if that helps.My friend has an old Windows XP laptop.Please help ASAP. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
paintball9 Posted August 26, 2010 Report Share Posted August 26, 2010 Sounds like your connection is either firewalled or not forwarded properly.Is the friend you mention in near the bottom the same one as the friends place you went to?Go through this and see if that helps, (uPnP and NAT probably aren't working on that internet connection, you will most likely have to port-forward) http://www.utorrent.com/documentation/connection-setup Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
