I'm just wondering how is it possible that the UL speed shown by µTorrent is higher than the limit announced by my ISP provider? I'm thinking it has something to do with the new implemented UTP connections (considering I was using v1.8.5 until recently), am I right? Thank you for all your hard work and excellent software! Dan_Alex Posted September 12, 2010 Author Report Share Posted September 12, 2010 Interestingly enough, because of your reply, I went and executed a speed test (which I haven't done in a while), and what was my surprise when I found my ISP really upgraded my UL speed from 2.6 mbps (325 KBps) to a new record of 3.75 mbps (468.75 KBps)!! Coincidentally, the upgrade must have taken place about the same time I myself upgraded from uTorrent 1.8.5 to 2.04, and I thought, mistakenly, that that was the cause... Thanks for your reply! Switeck Posted September 13, 2010 Report Share Posted September 13, 2010 I don't understand...Are you using some sort of exotic VDSL type line or fiber optic line?ADSL normally isn't capable of over 1.4 mbit/sec upload, even with Annex-M it doesn't exceed 3.4 mbit/sec upload.
