Ah27
I recently installed bittorrent, and now when I try to save a torrent it gives me an error message stating that it can't be saved in that directory. I went to my control panel and tried to uninstall the program but it's not there. Even now when I click on the Bittorent application i am still able to use the program. I just want to uninstall the program so I can install it again from another website. I even tried installling bittorent from another website to over write it but it just keeps opening up the same application like it's already installed. Someone please assist me with this problem
moogly
Try to run bittorrent.exe as admin one time (right click). To uninstall BT, just erase the folders %ProgramFiles%\uTorrent (with the exe) and %appdata%\utorrent (history and settings), that's all.Anyway you have an issue with privileges on your computer, check the security properties of the folder where you want to store your torrents. Don't forget Windows doesn't allow the same privileges if you install a program as simple user or as admin.
