zemtex
I was wondering about uTorrent's specification on the front page. I quote the text:"Resource-FriendlyµTorrent was written with efficiency in mind. Unlike many torrent clients, it does not hog valuable system resources - typically using less than 6MB of memory, allowing you to use the computer as if it weren't there at all. Additionally, the program itself is contained within a single executable less than 220 KB in size."The problem is that the program isnt less than 220 KB. The program is packed 328,056 bytes big. That is off by 108,056 bytes. I suggest that uTorrent change this specification as fast as possible. And if you uncompress the executable (uTorrent is compressed with upx) then the executable suddenly increase to mind boggling 713,592 bytes. Almost a megabyte. This is the true size of the program. The compressor is cheating on its size.713,592 bytes and subtract 220 KB the program is almost 3.3 times bigger than what the front page is telling me. Isnt that a bit "unfortunate" to do?Any comments?
