How to properly back up

My uTorrent crashed today, and I last ALL my torrents from it. I had good number of them, that I use either for leech/seed, or for later use, reseeding for example in private trackers.

Is there any way to prevent something like this from happening again ? Any back up method ? Like putting some files in specifig dir, that will save torrents WITH paths. Torrents alone are no use if they dont have paths set. To manualy set them all up is a lot of work.

If resume.dat in the folder %appdata%\utorrent is corrupt, you need to follow this guide: http://user.utorrent.com/documentation/migrate (look at autoloading chapter)

Yes, just back up the folder %appdata%\utorrent.

It's not what I need. I need to set dl location for dozens of torrents.

That's what you need. Torrent history is saved in the file resume.dat stored in %appdata%\utorrent.

And there is no back-up feature in µT.
