Wander
So way back then i read you had to limit the upload speed to a percent % of what your DSL provides. I have verizon DSL and I set it to 17 kbs upload/ 0 kbs download. I recently installed utorrent again and used the utorrent setup guide to test the connection. It calculated my 3 Mbits/768 kbits dl/up and it recommended me to set the upload rate to 70 kB. I think i had it on 17 before. Should i leave it at 70 or should i lower it? I forgot what percent of the total upload speed to use?
Wander
Actually i found out the guide i used before and its 80% of what your dsl provides. 70 is near 80% of 96kB/s so im going to keep it at that. Looks like utorrent was correct.
