jaimito Posted January 5, 2011 Report Share Posted January 5, 2011 hi,i'm jaimito i'd just like to introduce myself.i am trying to develop an application whereby downloading torrents are displayed in a users' browser. i can get the webui running ok but for a less experienced user i think it would be difficult. i know that the chinese use xunlei whereby a user doesn't have to add these details.so my question is:is it possible to show torrent activity on a localhost without the username and password?i understand the syntax for accessing the webui [username:Password@YourIP:UTport/gui/] but i know this is not an option in IE.if you could point me in the right direction it would be much appreciated.thanks!jaimito Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Anyone could create hyperlinks that would mess with your utorrent if you clicked it.The proper way to to connect to the API can be found here.
