Mhodder
I am at about 75% success in downloading. Most download appear fine to start but when I try to convert them, there is only a "read only" file. The Mb are the right size but it's like there is nothing there. This has happened about 3 times now. Scared to pass these files on so I delete the torrent. What am I doing wrong. Like I said most of the time it works perfectly. DreadWingKnight
Stop trying to use files before they are complete.

DreadWingKnight
Sounds like the security properties on the files are incorrect then.
Mhodder
Am I right to stop seeding if the files are no good?
DreadWingKnight
Have you double-checked the security properties on the files to make sure both your user account and the user account running uTorrent have full control?
Mhodder
Obviously was a security issue as I received email from my provider giving me a spanking. Does everyone here use ISP blockers or do they just take their chances. Or, is there a way to tell if the torrents has tracking active on it. Only time it has happened and I really don't feel like using a VPN.
