Reformation Posted April 1, 2011 Report Share Posted April 1, 2011 Hi all,I hope you can help, ive recently got a new 1TB external hard drive and i have moved all of my downloaded torrents over to the new drive, i want all new torrents to be downloaded to the external drive and also keep seeing the downloaded torrents. I cant seem to work out how to do this?If i cant keep seeding can somone please tell me how to just change the download location as it doesnt appear to working from the menu in 'Option's > 'Preferences'. Ive tried downloading a small torrent just to check and it reaches 99% then stops...Any help would be massively appreciated. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
moogly Posted April 1, 2011 Report Share Posted April 1, 2011 Change the directory path in Preferences > Directories for the new torrents you will add.And for the current torrent jobs visible in the main window, edit the file resume.dat (folder %appdata%\utorrent) with the freeware BEncode Editor (http://forum.utorrent.com/viewtopic.php?id=31306). Sorry im a bit of a n00b, i just stopped seeding old torrents and will download all new ones to the hard drive and seed the new ones from that location.
