mcchris1313 Posted June 6, 2011 Report Share Posted June 6, 2011 Hello, every time i go to download a torrent, the file gets an error, an ACCESS DENIED message pops up on the bottom right part of my screen from utorrent, and when i check the logger the error reads as "error opening "E:\whatever the name of the file is im downloading". Is there a setting or something that got messed up somehow? i cannot download any torrent without having this error and i have been trying to fix it for over a week.In frustration, i uninstalled and reinstalled which still didnt work. So i tried downloading Vuse and BitLord in the hopes that they might work. It didnt. I reinstalled uTorrent and am desperately trying to figure out how to fix this. moogly Posted June 6, 2011 Report Share Posted June 6, 2011 It's an issue with Windows and the read/write privileges. Check the permissions for the drive E:.
