tommyboy07
I was seeding content this weekend and the folder containing the torrents, the content and other files dissappeared. They weren't recoverable in my trash, so I was wondering if it was possible for someone to access the folder through the torrent and delete it off my machine. Thanks. moogly
No in theory. Are you sure you didn't delete the torrent job? Did you search the file with Win Explorer? Is the .torrent file still here?
tommyboy07
The entire folder (mp4 files, torrent files and some unrelated files) were deleted. I'm running Windows 7 and used explorer to search for the .mp4 and .torrent files. None were found. Also nothing was in my recycle bin so I don't think I deleted it by accident twice. Just paranoid I guess. Thanks.
moogly
Be sure your uT client is up-to-date (2.2.1). Anyway uT deletes physically no file if you don't tell it to do it. You can use a data recovery program like freeware Recuva ou TestDisk. Even if the files are partially rewritten, uT should force a recheck to retrieve some parts. moogly
No, it's almost impossible. Are you the only person to access to this computer?
