I want to move the files while still being able to seed. If I move a file how can I get uTorrent to detect its new location and continue seeding? jimmydiddly Posted June 29, 2011 Author Report Share Posted June 29, 2011 yeah but i want to have different kinds of files and different folders and seed from the different folders. if i have all my downloads in 1 folder, and move some files to another my utorrent loses track of where i moved them and stops seeding. moogly Posted June 29, 2011 Report Share Posted June 29, 2011 You can only set a global storage download folder in Preferences > Directories.But you can change the folder when you're adding a new torrent ("Add New Torrent" dialog box) or with the function Set Download Location or Relocate (in Files tab).
