bullen
Just upgraded from 1.4 to 1.5 and everything went fine until I clicked a new torrent in the browser; Now there is an error popping up saying Windows cannot find "[path to IE temporary torrent file]" Make sure you typed the name correctly, and then try again. Etc. etc...Guess I'll just revert back to 1.4 for now.
Firon
Uh, that's a Windows error, not a µTorrent error.
bullen
Maybe so, but it works with uTorrent 1.4 so I don't know nor care but just wanted tell u.
Firon
Did you use the auto-updater to upgrade to 1.5?
bullen
No, do you need to? Prefer not to use installers... specifically to avoid the new version not woking and having problems reinstalling... Don't sweat it, 1.4 is fine!
Firon
The problem isn't with 1.5, it's that you were running 1.5 without having associated .torrent files with it. General -> Associate with .torrent files. This is avoided if you just use the auto-updater next time. Or if you overwrite the same exe when downloading it manually.
