ckypop
I was just using Windows on Boot Camp and decided to watch a movie there as I had some other things to do on Windows as well, so I didn't feel like rebooting.Upon downloading the movie I saw a "Stream" button, which to my amazement just started playing the movie right away when it was still downloading. I Googled around, but couldn't really find anything like it for the Mac, except some other solutions which required me not to use uTorrent, but I would really prefer to do this on uTorrent. I saw a post from 2009 in these forums, where the feature was supposedly in development, but so far - nothing.Another thing that would most likely be great, if possible, is to stream video from .rar files from the torrent as well, I know VLC allows doing that, so I don't see technical limitations on why it wouldn't be possible to stream it from uTorrent to VLC that way, as well. This is a really awesome feature and I really hope it'll be implemented in the OS X version any time soon! hermanm
I use Windows, but I also would like to know/see if VLC can stream .torrents with RAR files inside. VLC has been able to play videos inside RARs for several years I think.
calirish
I would seriously love this feature and I think it would really help the mac torrenting community. It must be significantly more difficult then windows, I know were not really a priority but they have had it for a while now. Can we get a response, will it ever happen or should I loose hope? Thanks
