Utorrent 2.2.1 Build 25302 exists ?

Hi

From the official 2.2.1 thread (http://forum.utorrent.com/viewtopic.php?id=88772) I see that the last build is 25249. However in some torrent trackers it is proposed to download Build 25302 (from some link)

Is there such version "Build 25302" or it is a fake/scam/virus ?

http://www.should.keepfree.de/utorrent_alltime_changelogs.txt (my collection btw) here you can check and search for "25302" (which you will not find) --> so ether the build no. or the exe is a fake ... or you mean 25203 (which exists)

You should always download the builds from www.utorrent.com only

25302 is not fake. It was released May 18, 2011 (under both uTorrent and BitTorrent brandings), is digitally signed by a BitTorrent Inc certificate, and even got cached by the Internet Archive's Wayback Machine.

If you ask The WayBack Machine for it's cache of the 2.2.1 utorrent.exe on any date after May 18 (such as May 30), you'll find it will deliver you uTorrent 2.2.1 Build 25302 as distributed by utorrent.com back on that date:

Similarly, if you ask The Wayback Machine what bittorrent.com was releasing on May 27, you will receive BitTorrent 7.2.1 Build 25302:

The uTorrent team do not provide any support for old versions but I thought it was worth mentioning that, yes, it was an official release, and no, it's not a fake, scam, or virus.

Seems as you are right. The size fits to the previous builds. Perhaps that's just another undocumented build (the last 2.2.1 perhaps) but since 25130 there are just promo changes.
