uKER Posted September 2, 2012 Report Posted September 2, 2012 It has happened two times already in the last month that when I download a large installer (say multiple gigabytes), and I try to install it, it gives me decompression errors.I then decide to force a recheck on the download, and the download is reverted to something like 99.9% downloaded, and upon restarting and letting it finish, the installer would work.Is there any reasonable explanation for this? It's kinda worrying to be honest.I always thought of the Torrent protocol to be one of the most error-proof.BTW, I'm certain that there's nothing wrong with my hardware (memory, processor, hard drives). Thanks in advance.
Kitsoran Posted September 3, 2012 Report Posted September 3, 2012 HDD, RAM, and a process altering the contents are all possible candidates.
