Trackers keep timing out

I'm a long time µTorrent user, and today, I started getting a weird issue. Whenever I try to download a file, be it using a magnet link or .torrent file, all my trackers except "Local Peer Discovery" and "Peer Exchange" time out after a minute or so.

Initially, I though this was related to the VPN client I installed yesterday; it's called Hotspot Shield. I tried disabling it, but µTorrent still shows that the trackers time out.

Has anyone dealt with this kind of issue before?

And when you remove it completely??

Client version and build?

Operating System?

I'm using µTorrent 1.6.5 build 27624 on OS X 10.8.2, and the issue persists after turning off Hotspot Shield completely.
