Anubis7733
I have an RSS feed set up and working properly, but was wondering if there was any way to control how often uTorrent updates the feed. I have looked for settings, but can't find any. If there is no option, does anybody know how often the feed updates itself? ThanksP.S. - Sorry if this has been answered before. I tried to do a quick search, but didn't find anything with a similar question.
ciaobaby
It updates at the period specified in the RSS feed. The options (oddly enough) are in Options -> RSS Downloader or press Ctrl+ RHOWEVER if you try to update more frequently that the feed alows, your client is likely to get banned from that feed. Anubis7733
Thanks, I'll see if there is anyway to increase the update frequency of my RSS feed. I had known about the RSS Downloader, but assumed there were more settings than just a download filter.
Beasly
If it helps you can configure rss.update_interval in the advanced settings.rss.update_interval: This option sets the length of time µTorrent should wait between each RSS feed update check. This value is interpreted in minutes, so please enter it as such. Any value below 5 will be ignored (and 5 will be used instead). This only tells how many minutes uTorrent should check the rss feed. ciaobaby
This only tells how many minutes uTorrent should check the rss feed.Yep, but the RSS feed interval (TTL) takes priority over the client setting.http://forum.utorrent.com/viewtopic.php?id=124576So if the TTL is 60mins it WILL be updated every 60 minutes.
