bebbo Posted November 10, 2012 Report Share Posted November 10, 2012 HiI have just updated to the latest 1.7.13 version of uTorrent and found that my notifications are now going to the in-built Notification Centre as opposed to Growl. Can I switch this behaviour back to Growl as I use Growl to send notifications to other machines / iPhone etc, functionality that the in-built system does not have...?Thanks in advance... mannionp Posted November 10, 2012 Report Share Posted November 10, 2012 Yeah, what he said I've moved from Transmission to Vuze because the former was slow and laggy on high I/O torrenting, and as of today from Vuze to uTorrent because I like having memory available for other applications... but I miss my Growl alerts sent to Prowl, which I had with both of the others...Ideally you should add a preferences switch allowing you to toggle between Growl and Notification Center, that way everyone gets what they want. I've looked at the link, but I have not seen any references to growl on the page (and only comments around when uTorrent was linked to Notifications Center). Did I miss something? miramar Posted December 13, 2012 Report Share Posted December 13, 2012 +1 for Growl notitifcations.I turned off OS X Mountain Lion notifications for uTorrent hoping that Growl would return but that didn't work.Growl.framework is still in the uTorrent.app so hopefully it will return.
