elian83
Hi,Can anyone confirm how the speed limit popup values are determined?If you set "46 kB/s" the possible values are: 10, 20, 30, 40, 44, 45, ·46, 47, 48, 50, 55, 70, 80, 100, 150, 200, 250But if you set "49 kB/s" the values are: 10, 20, 30, 40, 45, 47, 48, ·49, 50, 51, 55, 60, 70, 80, 100, 150, 200, 250I want to know, given any number, how to replicate the speed limit sequence.Thanks,Elian. elian83
Thanks for your answer.Can you provide some code or practical example on how to get the values? I'm trying to replicate the method but if fails with bigger numbers.Regards,Elian.
ciaobaby
?Ok I'll bite. Why does it matter? The range of numbers have no particular significance, you could set them in stops of 5 or 10 or use the alternate suggested range setting (0.5 .. 500 in 14 steps) in Preferences -> UI Extras. If you want to start from a larger median and go ± about that, apply a multiplier (x10, x5, x100) on the range calculation above, or put in some random numbers, you are the only one that is going to use or even see them.
