Mirager_
So I have many torrents on utorrent, and I want to delete some that have small file sizes(so that I can delete those from the list). What I want to do is focus on these torrents for seeding, not the one I'm currently seeding. How do I do that?
ciaobaby
Sort by the size column in the job list, and use the category filters in the sidebar.
Mirager_
That doesn't help though, it's just for sorting torrents after the file sizes. It's still the same torrents that are seeding.
ciaobaby
Ok???? So, what is your question then???????A seeding job, is a seeding job, is a seeding job, REGARDLESS of the size of the torrent.
Mirager_
You didn't get my question. What I want to do is focus on seeding the torrents which I want to seed.Basically I want to seed the torrents that have small files, so I can delete them from the list. ciaobaby
Basically I want to seed the torrents that have small files, so I can delete them from the list. That makes no sense at all if you remove them from the list the won't be able to seed!!!Are you trying to say that you want to reach your seeding goal on smaller jobs first???If so, .......... You can't.You could move them up and down the queue priority, but there is NO way you can make ANY job or jobs complete in any kind of sequence, that is up to the peers that WANT whatever you are seeding. Jobs that are 'popular' MAY complete quicker but there is no way to guarantee it.If you are not on a private tracker and seeding jobs from there that HAVE to reach a specified target, YOU are the only one 'keeping score' on what you seed back. You can't.You could move them up and down the queue priority, but there is NO way you can make ANY job or jobs complete in any kind of sequence, that is up to the peers that WANT whatever you are seeding. Jobs that are 'popular' MAY complete quicker but there is no way to guarantee it.Hmm, I see. Last question, how do I move up the queue priority for torrents? Mirager_
The Move Up and Move Down buttons are greyed out for me.
ciaobaby
Try selecting a job to move first.
ciaobaby
Oh and moving a seeding job ISNT going to do anything at all, because completed jobs do not have a queue number.
Mirager_
Right I forgot about that. That's why it was greyed out.
