ccb056
The machine's internet connection is gigabit. When having multiple simultaneous downloads the 'corked jobs' can reach 1000+.When this happens utorrent stops responding and the downloads stop in processes. This never happened before utorrent added the 'corked jobs' display in the gui. This started happening immediately after performing a utorrent update, no other settings have been changed. Viper007Bond
I'm having this exact same issue. I'm currently looking at a corked jobs value of over 60,000 and it's climbing at a rate of 3-10 per second even with nothing downloading.
ccb056
Corked jobs are also causing build 29333 to crash.I have to go back to utorrent 3.2.3 build 28705 for utorrent to run without crashing....
ccb056
Corked jobs are still broken in build 29533.......
octopusnuts
Do you have Unlocker installed? I saw it mentioned in another thread, since it seems to hook into uTorrent's process for some reason.I'm not 100% certain I had this "corked jobs" issue, since I never used the versions that crashed long enough (and wasn't aware of the corked jobs statistic), so we might not have the same problem. octopusnuts
I thought this problem had vanished for me, but now this has also happened to me twice in a short time period. I'm using build 29544. uTorrent suddenly stops writing to the disk (claiming that the disk is overloaded; it's not), and it never recovers. The corked jobs value grows and grows ad infinitum, even after I have stopped any active downloads.I'll go back to using 3.2.3.28705, which is the last version that doesn't exhibit this behavior..
