thinker
This is possibly a 'feature' somehow but it's very problematic for virtual servers/servers. If a windows with metro start screen (8 or server 2012) has utorrent enabled to start after each start, it only starts AFTER one enters the desktop, it should be starting regardless since it's after all a server environment that may have automatic reboots for updates or maintenance. ciaobaby
Not a 'bug', uTorrent runs in a user context NOT the machine or system context.
thinker
So, it might be time to consider that certain people use torrent technology for servers. Are you going to stay out of that market completely?
ciaobaby
Nothing to do with me personally.I simply run a client that IS DEVELOPED specifically for running as a service on Windows when and if I need to do that. It's all a matter of using the right tool for the right job. thinker
Does it have a UI?
ciaobaby
Because it is expected to run as a remote client there is no built in GUI application, you would simply use Telnet for CLI or the HTTP interface in a browser. But there are several third party GUIs to choose from that can be installed on a remote machineadd .info to my user name out what it is.
