istavnit Posted April 14, 2013 Report Share Posted April 14, 2013 I wanted to try using a proxy service. I put in user and password into the network settings. Download appear to be working. I then put in a bogus proxy address and restarted the client. Downloading torrents worked again. There should be an obvious indication if traffic is succesfuly routed to proxy, there should also be an option to only connect to torrent network through proxy and do not fall back to direct connection (this should be the default mode of operation to protect users' privacy) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
