evckam101872 Posted June 1, 2013 Report Share Posted June 1, 2013 I am currently using Windows 8 and would like to move to Ubuntu 12.04. All of my torrent files are on an external usb drive. Is there a way to back up and move not only mu Utorrent settings but also all the files from Windows to Ubuntu. I have done this before but only windows to windows. ciaobaby Posted June 1, 2013 Report Share Posted June 1, 2013 Help -> User Manual -> Chapter 03 -> Migrating to Another Location.Take note that you will need the ntfs-3g driver installed to allow Ubuntu to read AND write to NTFS partitions, the Linux kernel NTFS driver alows read only.
