ciaobaby
Because it IS an "illegal" character in file names on Windows OS (FAT & NTFS) filing systems, but NOT on Mac and Linux (ext3, ext4 ect.) filing systems but why utorrent not warning when filename contain " : " ??BitTorrent clients do not 'see' illegal characters in file names in the payload or metadata until the operating system passes them to the GUI as an error.
